  • Use ±1 and ±5 nudge buttons for micro adjustments

Common Questions

Does Voice Metronome work without internet?
Yes — it is 100% offline. Voice clips are generated using your device's built-in TTS engine and cached locally. No internet connection is ever required.
Will it keep playing when I switch apps?
Yes. Voice Metronome runs as a foreground service, which means it continues playing in the background even when you open another app. A persistent notification shows a Stop button for quick access.
How does Smart Trainer work?
Set a start BPM, a target BPM, a step size, and how many bars to play before increasing. Smart Trainer plays at the start BPM, increases by the step after the set number of bars, and stops when the target is reached.
How does Tap Tempo work?
Tap the tempo pad at least 5 times in rhythm. The app calculates the average time between taps and sets the BPM accordingly.
How do I save my current settings as a preset?
Tap the Presets button, then 'Save as New Preset' and give it a name. All current settings — BPM, time signature, sound type, Smart Trainer config — are saved together.
